Responsibilities of Java Developer

• Participates in systems full life cycle development activities- requirements definition, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user training
• Assists other personnel both internal and external by answering questions, supplying information, knowledge sharing and training
• Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with customers
• Designs and develops Java solutions vis-à-vis customer requirements
• Work closely with both BA and Tester to properly translate requirements to design and code as well as capture the necessary scenarios to achieve effective unit testing
• Documents code changes by creating system analysis and design high level and low level
• Conducts knowledge transfer and supervise team members
• Provides estimate scope and planning
