Responsibilities of Business Analyst

• Work closely with business analyst and developer of the change request to define and understands client’s requirements
• Participates in the design review to align test approach for the specific change
• Prepares test plan and test cases based on the solution of the requirement
• Conducts smoke and regression testing to ensure that the applied change/fix did not affect the existing functionality of the system
• Validates failed test cases and provide proof of testing, as needed
• Ensures that assigned tasks and change requests are completed according to the agreed deadlines
• Understands and meets management expectations
• Looks for business process improvement opportunities, i.e. including test automation
