Sylvia P. Yngente

President

• Sylvia Yngente has (39) years experience in Retail Banking whose last leadership position in Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) was as Senior Vice President for Consumer Banking in-charge of both sales and service functions of branches in North Luzon from 2008-2011 and South Luzon from 2012-2014.

• A valuable resource for staff training and development, marketing bank products and services, regulatory policies and compliance requirements, Sylvia held various key positions in Far East Bank & Trust Co. as Vice-President/Business Center Head until its merger with BPI in 2000, where she assumed the position of Sales Director for Preferred Banking and Sales Director for Corporates in 2004. In 2006, she became the Service Channel Head of BPI Family Savings Bank.

• Sylvia graduated Magna cum Laude from Sacred Heart College, Lucena City with an AB English Degree and earned her Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree from De La Salle Graduate School of Business and Economics.

Atty. Clarissa M. Peñalosa

• Clarisse has almost (32) years of professional experience in the banking industry where she headed various significant positions in Legal Dept., Trust Dept., Agency Services and Special Account Management Dept. of Far East Bank. Following the merger of BPI, she headed the Asset Management & Trust Group, Legal/Compliance/Product Development & Management Dept.

• In early 2006, Clarisse moved to BDO Private Bank Wealth Advisory & Trust Group as Head of Trust & Estates/Legal/ Structures where she focused on wealth management, designed and created bespoke structures aimed at meeting clients’ unique needs from simple estate planning to complex family office under trust. At the time of her retirement from BDOPB in February 2015, she was First Vice President and Head of Special Structures/Family Office.

Consuelo V. Dantes

• Experienced Human Resource Management and Development Professional with over 25 years of expertise as Chief Human Resource Officer in a development bank, savings bank and a unibank; certified Professional Coach, accredited International Consultant for HR Programs, and served as Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to two CEOs.

• Annette is a seasoned professional with (35) years of management career reflecting competency in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Corporate Communications, Social Corporate Initiatives and Developments, in both diverse and evolving industries.

• Her forte is talent acquisition for skills and competencies in the emerging marketplace such as: software developers, process control engineers, test developers, banking, US registered nurses and mass hiring for manufacturing and BPO spaces.

• An independent HR Management Consultant who also conducts public training on Labor Relations and Related Laws; her professional experience covers diverse industries: energy and power, electronics design and development, manufacturing, housing and development, healthcare outsourcing, BPO, banking, telecoms, staff leasing and consulting.

• A registered social worker, Annette has a Master of Science in Business Administration (MBA) degree, Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSSW) degrees earned from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila

Maxima M. Mercado

General Manager

• Ema Mercado has more than (39) years of experience in banking, held various significant positions as Compliance Officer, Relationship Manager for Small Medium Enterprises, Customer Care Officer, and Loan Account Officer.

• She complemented the Chief Compliance Officer in coordinating the implementation of the Bank’s compliance system, random compliance test check of all business units, monitoring action plans and set timelines for BSP/Internal audit findings and outstanding items for regularization, disseminating relevant Phil. Laws and regulations through issuance of internal bulletins/reminders/policies and contribute to the Compliance Office’ objective of attaining an effective Compliance Program for the Bank.

• Acted as the Customer Care Officer of the Bank by seeing to it that all complaints from all channels are well addressed and resolved.

• Responsible for smooth and pleasant relationship of the bank with external governing bodies such as Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Securities and Exchange Commission, Insurance Commission, Chamber of Thrift Banks, among others.
